This issue contains a substantial essay on Malthus's Maria Luisa Cohen. Very often we had to discuss ideas Malthus with people who, apparently had not read a line in the main and most famous work, the Scottish economist and moralist: the "Essay on the Principle of Population." I've read that the [1] I found confirmation of the idea that most of the things you say about Malthus are derived from second-hand ideas informed by a progressive manner and without the slightest attention to the amount of demographic and ecological phenomena that have always determine the material basis of ecological crises.
